Best review of McCain's speech

Attaturk: "Oh, Go with the Green Background" "It'll make you look like the cottage cheese in a lime jello salad" Always a good look for an older gentlemen. The aesthetics of McCain's speech, just mercifully completed before a slightly energized crowd of literally dozens, was awesome in how dreadful it was. No matter what Harold Ford thinks, who was somehow thoroughly moved by lime-jello McCain. Yeah, Ford is thus far the only person on TV, print, or on radio to have given McCain's speech a positive review. At least until someone asks Joe Lieberman what he thought about it.

Clinton surrogate talking points include VP talk
read more
Instead of Obama focusing his energies against McCain, helping drive the contrast shown tonight in both their speeches, the cable newsheads will be obsessing over the "Clinton as VP" thing. And yes, it's the Clinton campaign itself which is pushing these talking points. * Today, Senator Clinton was asked whether she was open to the idea of running as Vice-President and repeated what she has said before: she will do whatever she can to ensure that Democrats take the White House back and defeat John McCain.
