Linux is Open Source, and therefore doesn't receive the same type of marketing attention as other OSes that are profit-driven. This is one reason why Filmmakers should give Linux credit by showing a GNU/Linux logo at credit time during movies. Also, it's just plain decent to show all the people who make GNU/Linux possible that they are appreciated.
